Buffering always has one root cause: the stream data is arriving slower than it is being consumed. But the reason the data is slow can be any of several things — your internet speed, WiFi interference, other devices on your network, ISP routing, or even the DNS server you are using. The key is diagnosing the right one instead of guessing.

4K means 3840 × 2160 pixels — four times 1080p. HDR means brighter highlights and wider color. Both sound great on a spec sheet, but the reality depends on your equipment chain: the source must be native 4K (not upscaled), your player must pass HDR metadata through, your HDMI cable must be 2.0 or higher, and your TV must support HDR10. Break any link in that chain and you are either wasting bandwidth on pixels your screen cannot show, or watching washed-out colors because the HDR metadata was stripped.

Your plan includes one simultaneous stream — only one device can play content at a time. When you start a stream on a new device, the previous stream is stopped. The limit is per account, not per IP address. Your dashboard shows the active device in real time with the option to disconnect if needed.
Important: your plan's single-stream limit means your home bandwidth only needs to support one stream. A single 4K stream needs ~25 Mb/s.
